If you only want to use the lights on your TV then Yes, if you also buy the Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box. That will allow the lights to "see" what's on the tv screen and sync the lights. Otherwise if you hook your PC up to your TV/monitor, install the Hue Sync desktop app, and play a movie/game/music on your PC, then you won't need the HDMI Sync Box as the lights with sync with what is playing on the PC.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, that's actually the brand and screen size I used them with. You can either mount them on the holders they come with or attach them to the TV directly (which is what I did). Works quite well as a back light.
