Q: QuestionIf I was to cut the led lights in half and use one half under my bed and the other half under my desk would I be able to do that ?

• A:Answer Nope, it's only powered on one end. Once you cut it the other end is pretty much useless.

• A:Answer To control the brightness and color of the lights with an app, the Hue Bridge is required. Without the bridge, the lights will still work but can only be turned on and off when plugged in or unplugged, and only then go full brightness in white only, which pretty much defeats the purpose.
