They must be compatible Phillips Hue components. I don't believe the dimmer switch would work with this since they essentials would be "working against each other" and I'm not sure how they would both connect to the same light(s). So my best guess would be that it is either the Philips Hue dimmer switch OR this module for the same lights, but could control different lights with the module on one area and the dimmer on another.
