Can you use it in the daylight hours outside? null

No. You have to have a very dark place in order for it to project properly. Outside is fine, but only at night. Inside is great too, but only in a very dark room. Otherwise, you will not be able to see. Most projectors, including this one, require darkness for optimal viewing.

I have not tried but since it is meant to be viewed in a dark setting, I would have to say no.
