QuestionHow many brush strokes a minute does it have? 62000 or 31000?

- Answer 1 brush STROKE (an up and down motion) = 2 brush MOVEMENTS (one up, one down) And that means … 31,000 brush-STROKES-per-minute = 62,000 brush-MOVEMENTS-per-minute. They describe the same rate of speed (frequency). So, there’s nothing new and improved here. Both brushing action descriptions are equivalents.

QuestionI purchased the 4100 in Jan. -6months ago. I’m seeing black oily substance underneath the brush head, it seems louder recently, & brushing strength seems less now. Could oil be coming from inside base & am I covered for replacement?

QuestionWhat size replacement brushes work with this model? Will C1 work?

- Answer Actually, the former answer "it uses a C3 head" is belied by the company provided photo showing a C2 head. What the little "radar" symbol means, sort of like my computers WiFi presence symbol, is not stated. Looking further, that seems to be the Brush Sync chip symbol, to activate the LED light that it's time to change the brush head. Your handle may not have that capacity, but all brush heads C1, C2, and C3 will work in the handle

Also, here are the brush heads that are compatible with the toothbrush HX3681/24: W/W2 HX6062/65, W3 HX9064/65, C1 HX6015/03, C2 HX9023/65, C3 HX9044/65, G2 HX9033/65, G3 HX9054/65, and S HX6053/64.

- Answer Hello! Kindly charge the Philips Sonicare 4100 Toothbrush HX3681/24 only with Philips WAA1001, WAA2001, UL or equivalent safety approved adapters with input ratings (100 - 240V~; 50/60Hz; 3.5W) and output ratings (5Vdc; 2.5W).

- Answer Hello there! The Philips Sonicare HX3681/24, part of the 4100 Series, does come with a USB charger, but it doesn’t appear to include a wireless charging case. The toothbrush itself has a 14-day battery life on a full charge. If you’re looking for a wireless charging option, you might need to consider a different model or an additional accessory designed for wireless charging.

- Answer All Sonicare toothbrushes will continue to work with a head that is in need of replacement. The brushes all have a "fade to white" indicator on blue tinted bristles, to remind you, even if your handle does not have the indicator light for head change
