Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between the 9300 series and the 9700 series?

Asked 7 years ago by LS.

This question was asked about the related product: Philips Sonicare - DiamondClean Smart 9300 Rechargeable Toothbrush - Black

• A:Answer Model Differences: 9700: Special "Lunar Blue" color. 5 cleaning modes. Comes with 6 heads. Travel case has a built in USB cord. 9500: Same as 9700 except: Comes in 4 color choices, but not the "Lunar Blue". Comes with 4 heads rather than 6. 9300: Same as 9500 except: 4 cleaning modes rather than 5 - skips "Tongue Care" mode (does anyone really want this?). Comes with 3 heads rather than 4 (skips special tongue cleaning head). Travel case has a separate USB cord rather than one built into case. So really the difference comes down to: the 9300 doesn't have special tongue cleaning mode & brush head, and its travel case lacks a built-in cord. These features don't add much value for me, so I would opt for the 9300.

Q: QuestionIs there another Phillips electric toothbrush I can get in place of this one that has a charging base? Instead of the cup charger? Really dislike the cup idea!! Also doesn’t have to be compatible with the app. I don’t need that.

• A:Answer It comes with a plastic base that can be used to store and charge the toothbrush. I don’t use my glass for either. I use it for rinsing and drinking. The travel case also charges the brush when plugged in.

Q: QuestionHow can one tell how low/high the battery level is? Older ones had an indicator - some of the models, I think, can be checked with the app ~ but this one doesn’t appear to have a way on the app? Or did I miss something?

Asked 4 years ago by Leroy.

• A:Answer Hello! When the DiamondClean Smart 9300 toothbrush is on the charger with no lights, it means it is fully charged and in sleep mode. If it's flashing green or white light it means it is charging and when it is solid green or white light, it is fully charged. When the toothbrush is not on the charger and it shows solid green or white light, it means it is fully charged. When it is flashing green or white light, it is partially charged. When it flashes amber light and 3 beeps, it is low battery. Finally, when it flashing amber light and 2 set or 5 beeps, it is battery empty.
