“Previous Sonicare had UV cleaner for brush heads. How are these brush heads kept clean? I am not asking if new brush heads are compatible with older unit. I am asking if you buy a new Sonicare without an old one, how are the brush heads kept clean?”

Same as the olds. You can keep it clean with the UV unit.
