“LX-301, DVD player -i have no control with that remote and cannot choose the play button on rental dvd. Smart TV when on netflix only sound is through TV not reciever. Unable to find instructions to sync remote controls. Help.”

Make sure ur connections are correct from tv out to receiver and not the other way around
