- Answer It's good. I have 2 speakers but no subwoofer. But it will handle it. Also the monitor out has signal from selected input for use with wireless headphones.

QuestionMy cassette tape deck has four plugs (2 white and 2 red). Can I plug it into this receiver and to what plugs would I plug it to? I need two of the plugs on the receiver for my phono turntable.

- Answer Plug the tape deck input into either stereo output RCA plugs. Plug the tape deck output into either stereo Line In RCA plugs. You cannot monitor the tape deck with this unit. Thus, it does not support an equalizer like older units.

- Answer You can buy one on Amazon or Best Buy. I myself bought a Terk. It does come with two antennas, both a square am antenna and a simple wire for fm. Both antennas are adequate but not the best in my opinion.

- Answer I think you could, but don't know how well they would sound as it might drop the connection from time to time, and any obstacles where you are playing them could reduce the connection. it all depends on what you are planning on hooking up and how close to the receiver the speakers would be.

- Answer Check your TV audio output ports (left and right channels) to see if they are RCA type (the original style of the ports to accommodate RCA cable). Then run RCA cables from your TV to your receiver. If you have HDMI only TV outputs, the RCA connections won’t be compatible with your TV. If you’re not familiar with RCA cables, look it up on line. Once you see them I’m sure you’ll recognize them. Good luck and have fun with your new receiver. Brian, Denver, Colorado

- Answer Yes, they can as long as you have the same type of speaker as far as amperage. If you have two sets of 6 ohm speakers that will work. If you have two sets of 8 ohm speakers yes that will work too. Press the A/B switch once and A's come on. Press again and the B's come on. Press it again and both A and B come on together.

QuestionHi, is this unit powerful enough to use on a pair of Technics sblx90 speakers?

- Answer I don't see why not but I am not a sound engineer. My impression is you always want more powerful speakers than the receiver and the technics speakers have a nominal wattage of 100 watts. My understanding is that if it is the other way around the speakers would blow out.

- Answer Hi Ron. Check page 8 of the receiver’s manual. It goes through the speaker specs: if one pair of speakers used: 4 to 16 ohms each is ok. If two sets of speakers used: 8 to 16 ohms is ok. If you connect speakers with 4 or more but less than 6, press SETUP (P7) on your remote, and set SP impedance to 4 ohms. I use Bostons and JBL on my systems, the only bookshelf pair being Boston but Bostons have been discontinued, so your choice of speakers at your favorite hifi store in the above appropriate ohms should do the trick. - Answer If you mean AM and FM antennas, yes you should have one of each. FM (the wire) attaches to the FM antenna port in back, and AM (kind of square) to its own port.
