I didn't look for an earphone jack because I bought Pioneer due to the fact that they have been making audio equipment for years and didn't disappoint however if you want to use a headphone jack to stereo that is literally what I did before surround sound and you can get a stereo (small headset style male) plug to plug into the Auxiliary port on your stereo and you can rock your TV through the stereo.
