“The Pioneer XUMO PN40-551-24U (40" TV) did not have an ethernet port. Has anyone that has no ethernet port been able to connect directly to modem using an USB to ethernet adapter and not use Wi-Fi. I may have to return for a 43" if it is not possible.”

The Pioneer XUMO PN40-551-24U doesn’t have an Ethernet port, and unfortunately, USB-to-Ethernet adapters aren’t supported for network use. If a wired connection is important, consider upgrading to a 43" model with Ethernet or using a streaming device that supports wired internet.
