The TV has composite inputs for your DVD player. HDMI will provide a better quality, but the red/white/yellow jacks are there, if needed. Dish (or any satellite/streaming) boxes typically connect to the TV via HDMI. There are three of these ports available.

Yes, you can connect your Sony DVD Player Model DVPSR510H to the Pioneer 40” Class LED HD Smart Xumo TV using the red, white, and yellow audio/video cables. The TV has AV input ports that support these connections. Additionally, you can install DISH cable on this TV. The TV supports HDMI connections, which is the best option for connecting your DISH cable box. If your DISH cable box has AV outputs, you can also use those to connect to the TV.
