I cant return my TV as I was hoping they would provide a firmware update for both but it seems like they dont care as I reached out to pioneer and Hisense support for anotger TV and there are no plans for the TVs I purchased recently
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Pioneer 55" Class LED 4K UHD Smart Xumo TV does not have built-in support for Google Home. However, you can still control it using Google Home by connecting it through a compatible device like a Chromecast or a Google Home-enabled smart plug. Here’s how you can do it: 1. Using Chromecast: - Plug in the Chromecast to one of the HDMI ports on your TV. - Set up the Chromecast using the Google Home app on your smartphone. - Once set up, you can use voice commands through Google Home to control your TV, such as turning it on/off, adjusting the volume, or streaming content. 2. Using a Smart Plug: - Plug your TV into a Google Home-compatible smart plug. - Set up the smart plug using the Google Home app. - You can then use voice commands to turn your TV on or off through the smart plug.
