Hi MLB153! Appreciate you reaching out to us. It seems that the Pioneer ND-BC8 camera does not have a feature that allows the grid view lines to automatically appear each time you place the car in reverse without manually pressing the grid line icon on the screen. You really need to manually press the icon each time you want to enable the grid lines.
