Q: QuestionWhy doesn't the specifications say that this unit plays CDs and DVDs ? It says no to CDs and no mention of DVDs at all !!!

• A:Answer I just installed it into a 2014 Tacoma. You will most likely need an adapter to plug it into the rear view camera and there is a programmable device, I believe it is made by Matrix, that you can buy to make it compatible with the steering wheel controls. This is normal add-ons that have to be bought when replacing a stock head unit with an aftermarket one.

• A:Answer The maps just update themselves. There is no charge. Occasionally, a map will be out-of-date, but that is usually because of new road construction or unexpected road closures.
