“Just had this installed in my son’s 2004 Ford Expedition. He plugged his phone into the USB port and cannot figure out how to get Car Play to sync ?”

Make sure your device is compatible with this product. Please refer to the website, https://www.apple.com/ios/carplay. Once verified, choose Apple CarPlay icon in the tab, and the application screen appears. Dina || Pioneer Customer Support
