A:AnswerNot sure if I can help, but I will try.
We put one in my son’s 2008 Ford Escape and it has transformed how he uses his vehicle. The issues you may have with a newer car are probably due to two things: (1) the proprietary software used to run most newer cars; and (2) the amount of integration of the proprietary head units with the vehicle’s system controls. I have a 2013 Ford Edge and am facing the same problem: I can’t upgrade to a Car Play or Android Auto unit.

Also, depending on what app you use to receive your chosen stream, and how much buffer you have set, you can use some extra data when you switch sources as it will pause the player. Previous Pioneer models would stop the same apps player.

A:AnswerThe stereo works perfect with a backup camera and allows the steering wheel controls to be used as well. I only saw 1 port for a camera to be attached so I Cannot see how an edition always camera can be linked in . If it is a series camera which means it is part of the same wire system as the rear camera then I would ask the geek squad if there is any kind of software that will allow you to switch from one camera to another.
