That is correct. Any 8 Ohm speakers should work. What that means, is not to use 4 Ohm speakers.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, 6-8 ohm speakers are fairly common. And some speakers will even say rated at 8 ohms and lower. As a matter of fact, have some old 4 ohm Cerwin Vega towers that I run with the Denon AVR-X3100 and they work fine.
