• I originally bought a sc-95 receiver. I returned it, and paid the extra money for the sc-97. The selling point for me (sc-97) is that it has a phono input. That also means it has a discreet phono preamp to handle the phono. I have a few turntables, and hundreds of vinyl. That was the deciding factor for me.
