“Does this burner have the ability to burn files to bland blu ray discs? If not can anyone recommend a blu ray burner that could burn to blu ray discs. Thanks”

• Yes it will burn bd-r 25 gig discs and also burn bdxl 50 gig discs

• I've burned several blu-ray discs on this burner as well as DVDs and had no issues with them. Just a suggestion for any blu-ray burner: burn at a slower speed than your media allows. You'll get better results.
