• It does but be aware the Surface Pro3 USB does not have enough power to run a CD/DVD that we could find. Some of the CD/DVD drives have a double USB on it so you can plug the second one into another USB power source.

• it works on windows 10. The surface pro will accept the usb and the software recognizes the drive. The Nero 12 disc which is included is a trial version only.
