“My Tacoma has the capability to make wireless calls and there is no external microphone. If I use this product, will I have to use the external mic provided? Or is it compatable with the mic already in my truck? Same with backup camera”

Please work with Best Buy’s Geek Squad. They will verify the fit and assist you with any additional accessories you may need. The adapter used will determine what factory services you can retain.

Please try again later.So honestly that depends on the install kit that you go with meaning you need the module and personally I like to use the data link maestro module now some cars and it’s all dependent on the car too. Will integrate the factory microphone into that but so far most cars do not, and you do have to use the supplied Microphone that comes with the head unit itself. If your truck already has the back up camera, then the module will take care of that as far as integrating it, and the same goes for if you have any other stereo related accessories meaning your steering wheel controls or even your depending on how new your vehicle is your climate controls are in your radio a lot of different other car features will also be within the radio now using the data link, maestro module. If you have someone that you know that does installs like this for a living or if you know a very well trusted place in your area reach out to them and they can definitely help you with getting all of the extra accessories that would be needed. That’s what I do on the side.
