“I got this installed by geek squad a few days ago and have noticed how even on max volume it is not that loud. The volume has to be on at least 30 for me to hear anything and anything less theres no sound at all. Is this normal?”

I would suspect something with the installation, please have the installer check the system. The speakers need to be between 4-8 ohms for impedance. If your vehicle has a built-in factory amplifier, you need to make sure this is being turned on.
