• Depending on the model if it’s a base model truck yes it will retain and add features, if not you will loose most of the radio features and wifi accessibility

• I put one in my similar Suburban. In order to keep full functionality, you'll need a wiring harness, a dash kit, and a separate harness for the steering wheel controls. After that, you're good to go!
