A:Answer This is a floating screen. It is outside of the confinements of the console; it is also able to articulate slightly in all directions. The floating screen is not an aesthetic that everyone enjoys; if you don't like it, you may want to try a model like the Pioneer DMH-4660NEX. It has a smaller screen, but it is flush with the console. It also has the great Pioneer sound.
