from page 24 of the instruction manual: You can configure a 5.1 Channel System ( p14) by connecting front speakers that support Bi-Amping connection. The Bi-Amping connection can improve the quality of the low and high pitched ranges. Be sure to remove the jumper bar connecting between the woofer jacks and tweeter jacks of the Bi-Amping supported speakers. Refer to the instruction manual of your speakers as well. also see chart on page 29. you can bi-amp up to and including 2.1, 3.1, 4.1, 5.1 speaker config. anything else - no.
