Yes, I have only done this through the pioneer app on my iPhone which lets me turn on each zone individually including having only zone 2 on. Have not tried to do this on the receiver itself since the free app is so convenient.

I know that I can turn zone 2 off because it’s outside on my patio and I most definitely don’t want to blow the neighbors out with the loud shoot’em up bang bang scenes. But I will most definitely ask him the next time he comes out
