“i have 6 speakers hooked up but not necessarily the surround sound configuration. 2 fronts, 2 backs and 2 speakers in another room. question: can i turn up the speakers in other room that are hooked up to the 'surround' inputs, and/or mute them?”

To my knowledge this unit doesnt have a mixer built in to independently control separate surround channels.
