• Yes they will work for that. They have noise cancellation technology so very little outside noise goes through the Mic. The only thing that might be a problem is that the headset blocks out sound so good you will not hear yourself speak. So you might talk louder than you want.

• Yes, the headset's microphone can be used for multiple applications. As long as your voice recording software supports USB audio devices it shuold be able to record through your headset.
