This is easily corrected by turning the chat volume (top volume dial) on the headset down as low as you can go without losing your content's audio, then adjust audio according with the bottom volume controller. This headset acts like other headsets I've seen where your game/movie/TV shot audio comes through on the chat channel as well. Doing this makes SIGNIFICANT improvements in the Dolby Atmos audio.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a similar problem when using the headset with my PC. I found that when I lowered the input volume it fixed the problem. I was playing audio through iTunes and turned the volume on iTunes down to about halfway. Then I adjusted the volume on the headset itself until I could hear it. You could try something similar on Xbox... lower the volume of your game or app and then turn it up on the headset to get rid of the distortion. Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also had some distortion but I let it play and they seamed to adjust and it fix itself, the distortion went away.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Guy at the top is right the chat volume controls sound also, when I first got my 800s I was very disappointed with all the distortion, and was beginning to return.... found this solution and fixed... Turn chat mixer to middle position (knob on top) and all distorted sound goes away, to revel crystal clear sound
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My headset also clips at higher volumes. You may need to lower the volume when there is a lot of bass present to avoid distortion
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You might want to ensure your Xbox One's firmware is up to date and try connecting your wireless adapter to a different USB port to see if this helps the issue.
