“How do I voice dial (android)? When I press and hold the mute/voice command button, I get the tone then a couple of beeps but no prompts like the manual says I should. It seems to automatically connect to Cortana to do a search.”

Just press and hold button until you hear the beeps. Immediately speak a command and the virtual assistant will ask what you want to do.

Once you've agreed, you need to press the mute button, when the earpiece access cortana (after the beeps), say the command "Call..." and the name of the contact.
