• Yes. A 46mm filter is tye proper size. It is a much needed accessory to protect the camera. Did not reduce viewing area.

• Yes - it will and does. I have two cameras of the like. It protects the jog lens and the outer frame provides some protection from camera cracking if the camera falls. It saved mine recently. The lens cracked but I was only out ten bucks instead of a whole camera. Easy to clean and if you are on the beach, you will thank your lucky stars!
