• I used it in Ireland with no problems charging my cell phone and laptop which was dual voltage.

• The UK and Ireland use the same plugs. I just used this there 2 weeks ago. You'll be fine.

• This does not convert voltage. Platinum also makes a version that does both coverts voltage and is an all in one adapter. I've included alink to the item I am describing.
