If you travel especially outside of the US and you want to make sure all your electronics is charged and ready for an amazing time than this is Must Have. Inaccurate description of the item
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The description of the item states the following "Universal in design, this adapter is compatible with UK, EU, Australian and North American sockets and converts 240 to 120 for efficient charging." However, there is a "Caution" warning on the unit itself - once you unpack the box: "This adapter does not convert voltage". And the guide inside the box also has the warning to purchase a converter to power the customer's device if the power outlet voltage (e.g. 220V) is greater than the customer's device voltage (e.g. 110V)

Efficient and Great Charging Performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this adapter with USB ports for a trip to Spain and Italy. My son is constantly connected to his phone for social media and streaming downloaded movies and TV. This adapter met both of our needs with the two USB ports and charged efficiently. He even used it on the airplanes with full success. While I wasnt looking to spend quite so much on an adapter, the lower priced models were out of stock. But I would say that this adapter was great and am not sorry to have purchased it. It is light weight but sturdy and gets the job done effectively. No negative feedback at all; only positive impressions.

International plug changer - excellent value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent plug changer for international travel. Don't be confused - this is NOT a voltage transformer. Most all current electronics accept voltages of 120-240V (check each device). It is a bonus there are 2 USB charging ports as well. I can never have too many plug changers to charge all my devices when I'm back the hotels overseas. The price is very good too.

All in One power adapter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly i have not physically used the product yet so I am only able to review from my observing what the product has to offer through various features. First thing is it has 2 USB ports with 2.4amps apiece, which is enough to charge my iPad and Pixel 2 XL. For US devices it has the NEMA 5-15P plug on the face, on the rear there is the option of NEMA 1-15R for using of foreign devices in the US. It has UK and AUST listed on the back so and I see the plugs types for China and Hong Kong on front and back which I would be using this for the most during travels. There are other plug types on the device both front and back but I am unfamiliar with them, best to use Google to find The country and plug type you are planning to visit.

Portable International Charger
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An excellent international adapter. Fairly* easy to use. My only gripe is that the sliders feel flimsy and like they could break. The upside is you can have something plugged in and also two usb items in at the same time. It's compact and you don't need to carry any extras to make it work in different countries. Love this little guy at $20 - $30.

Q: QuestionWill this work on normal high wattage USA appliances (hair dryer, flat iron etc.) when traveling in Europe? In other words, does this convert 110v (USA) to 220v (Europe). Trying to avoid frying my hair appliances.
Asked by J.
- A:Answer We just returned from a trip to Vienna and Paris and used the adapter when in Vienna. I used it for my curling iron, and was surprised to see that got so hot that it melted the plastic tip off the top of the curling iron! After checking the adapter, in very fine print (not on the box when we purchased it) was a warning that this is an adapter NOT a converter. Fortunately, we had a second adapter converter(different brand) with us that worked just fine. Also fortunately, we had not tried this out on our cell phones. I can't imagine a company that would make an adapter that allows you to plug into an electric circuit not compatible with your device without a means to convert it.

Q: QuestionIf I use this in Europe with 240 V outlets can I just plug my iPhone and iPad into the USB ports without a converter?
Asked by DavidA.
- A:Answer Yes. It should work just fine. My son and I just set the prongs to the correct configuration for Europe and plugged our phones right into the USB ports for charging and use. I am not an expert, but since iPads basically work the same.way, I think you would be fine.

Q: QuestionWill I also need to purchase a voltage adaptor or is it included?
Asked by Andi.
- A:Answer Most small electronics such as phones are duel voltage as are portable chargers. You can safely charge with an adapter. Be sure to check the specs on your phone. If in doubt charge the charger and use it to charge a usb type device. Now a lot of hair dryers are duel voltage. You can look on the dryer and if it says 110/220 you can safely use it with just an adapter to fit the plug. We have never had a problem with electronics in Europe.

Q: QuestionI have this adaptor, and I am planning to use it in Italy, Europe. I need to use my hair straightener, which is 110-220 V (60/50 Hz), and the power is 45W. (It says the temp as 140-410 °F.) Can I still use this adaptor? Would it be safe enough?
Asked by EY.
- A:Answer my wife tried to use a curling iron and it fried it in a matter of minutes in London. It does work great for computers, iphones, etc.
