“I have this adaptor, and I am planning to use it in Italy, Europe. I need to use my hair straightener, which is 110-220 V (60/50 Hz), and the power is 45W. (It says the temp as 140-410 °F.) Can I still use this adaptor? Would it be safe enough?”

• my wife tried to use a curling iron and it fried it in a matter of minutes in London. It does work great for computers, iphones, etc.

• I bought this one for Europe too. I would say yes it is ok. I plugged in two phones, 1 laptop and big power bank at the same time. Didn’t have any problems

• You should have no problems. The power (45W) is the critical spec and the adapter is rated for use at 1380 W at 230 VAC (6 Amps). The temperature is probably referring to heat output of the dryer.
