It plugs into the wall outlet and also your TV’s hdmi port. Currently there is only a “sleep” mode and a magnetic cover for the camera lens, no “off” switch. When plugged in, any button on the remote will trigger the system to wake up/ “turn on”. Not sure on exact length of the cable, but the Nintendo Switch power cord is compatible with it and seems to be about the same length.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Two places - plug into your TV (HDMI cable) and plug into your wall outlet (power cable). Length is ~5 feet long for each cable. There is no on/off switch but you can use the remote to put Nex Playground to sleep.
