No normal 1080p Monitors or TVs will get a benefit as well in crisper more detailed textures & frame rate .. but obviously the full potential of this system will be shown with a 4K HDR monitor or TV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it will play on a 1080p TV also. You will get the full advantage of the speed of the new processor and get to play games at 1080p 60fps. The TV has to have HDR capabilities to get the benifit of that and that requires a 4K TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work with any monitor, but 4K will bring out the best. Games that support the pro will offer better performance in general even at 1080p.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't need a 4k tv/display (some new "tv's don't have a tv tuner, hence are called displays and not tv's) as the pro will also enhance traditional HD tv's as well. But for the absolute best experience you not only want a 4k tv/display, but one that also supports/features HDR (specifically HDR-10). But yes, it will work on pretty much all tvs/displays made in the past 10 years or so.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Of course, the nicer the TV or monitor the better the graphics will look, but nothing new is needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work. There has been mention of choices for the gamer regarding if you want the boost to 4k / whatever upscale options there are, or if you want to run at 1080p and instead put that power toward framerate, higher resolution textures etc... Think about it if you are using a PC you can up your resolution to 4K or you can set all the other settings to ULTRA. Same idea (in theory).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it will still work just not optimized
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This depends on the game developer. They may optimize their game for HDR and 4k on the pro and/or provide better graphics and framerates at 1080p.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use a normal 1080p monitor but Sony locked the frame rates at 30fps and you will not see any visual differences compared to a slim or other ps4. The Pro is meant to be played on a HDR 4k tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
