Overclocked cpu. Went from GHz to 2.1GHZ. good bump in speed on the cpu. GPU is a gimped AMD 480. For a console priced at $400, its a real good Graphics chip. IT will keep this console relevant for some time longer. A no brainier purchase in my opinion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is more of a midlife redo of the standard PS4, with emphasis placed on providing 4K quality graphics and extra processing power for the PSVR headset. To see any real difference with the PS4 Pro, you WILL need a a 4K TV with HDR 10 support . tHEN once you have the tv, the titles coming out from the fall onward will support HDR and bring the games close to 4K (but not completely. It should be close though and you'll notice a big jump in the range of color and details).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Major difference would be the GPU which is a 4.2 TF card instead of the 1.x GPU in the current PS4, you will get better textures, resolution, framerate, stability out of your games.... and the true potential of this machine will truly shine if you have a 4K HDR TV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Quite simply, its the hardware.. newer GPU, higher performance out of the chipset, the ability to do HDR gaming resolutions, 4K for GAMES - not movies/tv shows. Upgraded storage space as well - 1TB instead of 500GB - however people have been replacing their HDD's for a while now, so that one doesn't really impress me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.CPU is over clocked 4k gaming compatible and HDR. But no 4k player native so I would guess when you buy a new game that has those features you will have to download all the 4k data onto the system. So hopefully you have fast internet and they improved their down load speed on the system itself which i read that they did upgrade to 5ghz wifi finally. and also you dont have data caps since anything 4k will end up bandwidth like crazy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A huge boost in power
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The PlayStation 4 Pro has upgraded components. It has a better graphics card, and they boosted the speed of the processor. The Pro is 2x more powerful than the old model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The ps4 slim, runs cooler and quieter. Costs Sony less to produce. It should drop to $249.99 by Christmas
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There has been a lot of confusion going around about the PS4 so let me clear it up. The PS4 Pro will have a much more power graphics card, faster memory, larger storage capacity, 1TB to be exact, and a better processor. Software wise the PS4 Pro will be able to play any game in 4K resolution, and supports HDR. Also any digital content will also be up scaled to 4K as well. So streaming movies from Netflix, buying movies off the PlayStation store will all be upscale to 4K.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sony has a slightly different chip set. Otherwise not much difference. Does not offer 4K video
