• There is a Playstation Plus subscription service available but it is not required to connect to the internet and use services such as Netflix, etc. The subscription is required however to play games online. There are some added benefits such as free monthly games and discounts in the Virtual Store as well. The best thing about it is if you also have a PS3 or PS Vita the single subscription also applies to those devices in regards to free games and perks however they do not require the subscription to play games online, that is only required on PS4. It should also be mentioned that an annual membership is significantly less expensive then subscribing month to month.
