Will this memory card work with a Cannon 5X null

If you have the G5X, than, yes it should. At least for the Mark II version, the camera has full support for SDXC class memory cards. Two potential issues: It may not have a fast enough write speed for some HD video modes. If you shoot in JPEG only, the remaining pictures counter might show 9999 until you take a number of pictures. Most frame displays are limited to 9,999 and will not start to decrement until the card has space left for less than 10,000 pictures.
