What is the AMP rating on these flash drives? I am wanting to use this in my vehicle and the max amp rating for my unit is 500 mA.

It should work.If you can find the specs. on your stereo it should tell you.I have used a variety of cruzers in my car stereo and they all worked fine.

I am not sure of the AMP rating but I currently use it to play music in my car and it works great, no issues.

These flash drives have very low current drain.... 500mA is 0.5 Amps.... which, relatively speaking, is a lot of current..... Flash drives like this have current drain much less than 100 mA. You won't have any problem.
