• no you would need ddr2 which is about 60 or more for 2gb chips...i would find a used desktop with much much much better specs than your older one for the same price as it would be to upgrade your ram alone...basically its not worth upgrading it at all

• No it won't. According to HP you need DDR2 memory. You have 2 slots and can install a max of (2) 2GB modules. 533-800MHz.
