• 3.0 is faster (newer) and 2.0 is slower (older) Check the color of your USB port on the computer you plan on using. Typically a blue port indicates it is a 3.0 port.

• .02 and .03 ? If you are referring to USB type then it is the type of USB port . you can use USB 2 or 3 in either port but it will only run at the speed of the device.
