• You can save files and folders within Windows or create a recovery drive however you can't save the entire Operating System on a flash drive.

• just made a backup of win 10 home edition on the 16gb usb flash drive

• You can't just save windows from a laptop to this. However this will work great to reinstall windows as it's plenty big enough for the windows ISO.

• You can't. The problem is not the capacity but the file format. This USB is FAT32 formated and the maximum size to write is smaller than windows 7 DVD. Maximum is around 4 GB
