Yes you can. 16gb is enough to do that. Realize that it will be slower than the 3.0 version.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can use a USB as a boot device....however the computer needs to be set in BIOS to read the USB first otherwise it won’t work. Plus I’m pretty sure you need a relatively big capacity USB drive to use windows 10 on it but there are some instruction from Microsoft on how to do this. So this is officially supported
