Make sure it's formatted using a standard other than FAT or FAT32. NTFS works great for Windows, don't know about Mac.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.check what file system the flash drive formatted as. it is likely formatted as FAT16 which limit each file to 4GB. if so, you'll need to reformat it to file system that can handle large files. in Windows OS you can format the flash drive to NTFS or exFAT which can hold much larger file sizes. i think the Mac will have exFAT but not the NTFS format. do note that reformatting will erase any existing files on the drive, and make sure you are formatting the flash drive and not the computer's drive!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you may wanna go with exfat instead of ntfs. i don't think ntfs is available for mac natively - you'll need to install a third party program to write to ntfs. it should read ntfs without a problem thoug (it's been a while since i've run mac). exfat is supported by the newer os x natively.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try formatting your flash drive so that it's in the "NTFS" format. You should be able to do this very easily. This may solve your problem. Read the instructions to see what the format currently is. It may be that your flash drive is formatted as "FAT32" and not "NTFS". If it's formatted as FAT32, then this may be why you aren't able to copy the 8GB video file. Hope this helps.
