the sandisk extreme series of usb 3.0 flash drives will satisfy your thirst, but i question that it would be any faster than a good SSD... also, from a point of security, would there not be a compromise as the UEFI would not be an integral part of that setup oln the USB since it is @ the hardware level ? lemme throw this atcha : i have a gateway ne56r34u notebook w/ 8gb PNY RAM & and a 120gb PNY SSD running windoze 10 tech prevu + it cold-boots (from off NOT sleep) in 7-seconds ... whatever u do, many blessings + i hope u get your machine 2 do what u want it 2 do !!! (btw, PNY also makes a line of superfast usb 3.0 drives called turbo)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.From the research I did when looking for a flash drive, the lower quantity of memory equates to slower transfer rates. As the drive size increases, so does the speed. If you find a fast, low GB drive, you'll probably pay as much as a 128gb drive...
