An external hard drive. Since portable drives are so cheap now I use them over desktop external drives because you don't need an external power source. They're powered from your USB port on your Pc, and very easy to carry with you and use from Pc to Pc. .They're very small, about the size now of a pack of cigarettes. I prefer using external drives over storing my info in cloud services. I have no idea how safe my info is from prying eyes in cloud storage services.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sandisk USB's, because they are the most secure. They have "My Vaults" which can be password protected. Within that is another "My Vaults".
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Either a Sandisk USB Drive or a PNY USB Drive. Both work well. The Sandisk is usually a little more expensive than the PNY but both work fine.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There's many things you can do to back up your computer, depending on the size and amount of files. There are cloud services, or you can buy a external hard drive, about a 1TB(1000gb) and up, and back up your files on to there.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Use an external hard drive. Flash drives can go bad at random, so don't have nothing critical backed up on them. If you're looking for something for just photos and documents, I have a 500 gb seagate slim drive that I use a lot. Unless if you're dealing with heavy rendering programs and huge file sizes, a LaCie is good too. Although, the seagate is great. Don't really need anything fancy unless you're a student or professional dealing with modeling programs.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on your needs. If its documents than a flash drive is a safe and economic way to go and you can store it away. If you have movies and music and lots of pictures then I would recommend an external drive.
