If you have extra cash, just add an add-on SATA 3 interface controller card if you have an empty pci-e slot and make sure it's at least a pci-e 2.0. You can see those on the motherboard of your pc or your dell documentation. You can check Amazon for the controller card for SATA3 so that you can take full advantage of the ssd's speed. Remember, make sure you check your motherboard and see if you have an empty pci-e slot and make sure it is at LEAST pci-e 2.0. Hope this helps.
