t is a internal drive but you can get a case for it to make it external look on you tube to see how to do it. It say i come with spacers but it does no i used double sided tape to make it work. why becaue the new ssd drive is smaller and it can move around the tape just lock it in place. The new ssd is a great price on sale i paid $22 for 128gb and it has cash t help it go faster.
